Antares Destroyer - Point Defense

In the mid 23rd century to counter the Trojan-Ioan Empire's Aries class destroyers the Hellenic League of Jupiter developed the aptly named Antares class. Antares, from the Greek “Rival of Aries”, was a multi-mission modular destroyer with a base design of 4 fusion engines, cryogenic fuel propellant storage, rotating habitation ring and a crew of over 125.   

A assortment of weapons and mission packages were designed to be modular and interchangeable. The Point Defense Antares possessed 10 centimeter cannons. Enhanced Radar and Lidar targeting arrays. The hanger bay in the nose was replaced laser generating equiptment that powered 14 point defense laser turrents. A Landing Pad/Docking Port was installed on the ventral exterior of the hull.
