Product Description

The Pentakis Dodecahedron is a Catalan solid and is dual to the Truncated Icosahedron (soccer ball). It has 60 faces, 90 edges and 32 vertices. This polyhedron starts with Pentakis Dodecahedron and breaks each face into 4 additional triangles for a total of 240 triangular faces. There are an additional 180 edges for a total of 270 edges. There are an additional 90 vertices for a total of 122 vertices. You can begin to see the basic idea for some large geodesic domes.
