Antares Destroyer - Base Model

In the mid 23rd century to counter the Trojan-Ioan Empire Aries class destroyers the Hellenic League of Jupiter developed the aptly named Antares class. Antares, from the Greek “Rival of Aries”, was a multi-mission modular destroyer with a base design of 4 fusion engines, cryogenic fuel propellant storage, rotating habitation ring and a crew of over 125.   

A assortment of weapons and mission packages were designed to be modular and interchangeable. The base Antares possessed 10 centimeter cannons. Radar and Lidar arrays.. Twin rail gun turrets. Point defense lasers. A hanger bay in the nose supported a mixture of 4 atmospheric and space only landers.
