Right airbox cover/fake tank lock for Yamaha FZX.
There are 2 little wedges in the Gas cap assembly, that lock the airbox cover/fake tank cover in place. This is the right hand part (view from drivers side!)
Also: see picture.
Do not confuse them with the wedges, that lock the gas cap into the tank - these are separate parts and NOT sold here!
This part was never separately available from Yamaha - only in the ~230Euro expensive tank cap assembly (2JE-24602-02).
However, I have seen missing a few of these wedges here and there - so here you can buy it separately.
Probably works for other Yamahas with a mechanism locked tank cover too, but I can not verify that.
Dimensions are: ~ 12x10x17
It is only available in metal, since it bears some load (it keeps the black fuel tank cover in place)
