Product Description
This is an HO Scale (1/87) model of a CTA/CRT wood rapid transit car, specifically from the Northwestern Elevated Railroad. This car represents a Pullman-built car in the 1789-1808 series in service from the 1890's until 1957 when the last wooden cars were retired. This model is based off of drawings in the CERA publication Chicago's Rapid Transit Vol. 1. and off of photographs of CRT car 1797 preserved at the Illinois Railway Museum.
