Product Description

Fits perfectly in a Shure SE846 DIY shell, use a few dabs of glue to secure things and ensure seal. Plenty of room left for a crossover circuit.

Complete freedom in tuning
Fits 3 dampers (1 for each driver)
1 more in the metal tube to act on all of them
Use none, use 4, or anything in between! The structure works flawlessly regardless.
Maximum compatibility
Has the tallest dynamic driver "depth" allowance of any similar structures in existence. This structure pushes Shapeways' printing capabilities to its limits, you're gonna NEED to injection-mould or SLS to get the last 0.2 mms of depth! (Or maybe sand it down a bit, but be careful!)

Random tips:

During tuning, heatshrink over the structure and adapt it to silicone tubes to use with eartips for listening/measuring. Use blutak or similar in place of glue to ensure seal and make things stay.
Be careful, don't apply too much force, this is thin! (still stronger than the competitors', though, courtesy of Shapeways' printing technologies)
This is sold in pairs, so just buy "1" if you only wish to make 1 pair of IEMs! There's a little strut to reduce printing costs (cheaper for Shapeways to print it as 1 object, than 2), it should come off naturally during transport, but if not, just break it off.

Update 26/04/2018, various improvements made from feedback (thanks guys!)
1. Damper nozzles diameters increased slightly (They were a bit too tight, requiring some sanding. Hopefully won't be necessary anymore).
2. Damper holes locations slightly changed, to better fit the SE846 metal adapter thingy.
3. Support strut added on the BA side, this small change makes the chassis a lot stronger without compromising compatibility.
4. Due to the added support struts, I could safely deepen the dynamic "well" by another 0.1mm, might give your dynamics a deeper rumble. This is as thin as currently printable.
5. Someone realised that the RAB's "height" is the same as a TWFK/SWFK's "width". That means perfect compatibility, if you mount the RAB sideways. However, due to slightly lower, height, it might be best to boost the RAB up a little. A piece of common double-sided tape has been reported to work well, so that the RAB's nozzles line up perfectly with the TWFK/SWFK's.
