Product Description

Bone House Acetoo suggests a number of key ideas to me. Containment, Compartementalization, Circuitry, Toothy and Jumbled. Some of these ideas work together. And let us not forget, that it is the job of the Bone Caster to lock down the meanings each House, into something that is workable.

Note: Some believe that these meanings are gifted from the Spirits. Others believe that the meanings must be whispered to the Spirits, so that they understand the language that they must speak in. Still others believe that Bone Casting is not about Spirits, but about ideas and associations - so each Bone House represents a key collection of related/integrated concepts. Some use Bone Casting for Lateral Thinking - Thinking out of the Box.

So, dont take my suggestions as 'law'. Rather, carefully examine each Bone House, to decide for yourself, just how you think they should be used, in your Castings.

In the meantime, here are some possibilities:

We can see that there are small round forms. Lets call them buttons for now. The buttons are placed in different locations. Some are outside the boxy structures, some are inside. One looks to be wedged in a 'toothy area'. This is what suggests "Containment" to me. There are many ways to hold/contain something. Or you can set it free.

Compartmentalization is a related idea, and it has to do with our actions. Do I have dual standards? Do I let some people get away with things, while others I "take to task"? Do I pay attention to some things, and ignore (denial) other factors? This might be the two-faced House. And related to that, it could also represent 'Options'. not in a bad way, though if I printed this in black, then it might come to represent those bad decisions I have made. In that way, it could be the House of Ghosts. The Decisions of my past that haunt me. Or the things that Burden me. Some that I ignore, some that I address, etc. Do you see how that stream of logic unfolded and was then bundled up into a collection of concepts?

So, if Bone House Acetoo is the House of Ghosts. Then it might have the following associations: Estranged People, Ancestors, Burdens, Choices, Denial, Storage/Storehouse, Resources, Mistakes, Scars.

Or maybe, the House suggestions something different to you. Does it look like a curled up skeleton? What other meanings does it suggest?

Perhaps, we should go with the 'Toothy' quality. Bone House Acetoo, might mean 'The Mouth'. So perhaps we will tie this into the idea of The Devourer. The One that Consumes. To me the Devourer could be either benign or malignant, and I leave both possibilities connected to the House. So on the good side, the Devourer must Collect. You cant eat, if you dont have food. So, the Devourer might just be "the one with the resources", because they have been gathered. And resources can be shared with others. But on the negative side, the Devourer is often very needy. Maybe Grabby. And very likely Selfish. The Devourer Hoards, and might just consume everything. The Devourer is probably a narcissist. LOL.

Have some fun with the exploration of each Bone House. But know, that the meanings can also help you understand yourself better - and the world around you - and other peoples behaviors and motivations.

Possible Associations: Ghost, Burden, Comparmentalization, History, Backstory, Devourer, Consumer, Resources, Hunger, Insatiable, Hidden Treasures/Skills, Arrangement, Patterns.
