This is a 1/3 scale human skull (8.5 cm in height) modeled by a certified Medical Illustrator. It is anatomically accurate and has all the surface detail of the real thing. This is perfect reference for any artist interested in drawing or sculpting the human head. It is small enough to grasp in one hand while sketching but big enough to get a true sense of form. Surface landmarks including muscle attachment points are easily identifiable. Each tooth is individually sculpted. Even the underside of the skull is detailed. The jaw is not attached to the skull itself but the two pieces fit perfectly together when resting on a flat surface. Please note that since the skull is sculpted to be medically and anatomically accurate some of the finer sutures (fissures) may not appear at this print resolution.
