: I have had a report of the male neck barbells
not fitting tightly enough in the neck socket of some male torsos, leading to a wobbly head.
: It has been determined that the issue was simply a bad print. A replacement was sent in the correctly-printed size and the fit was as intended.
This is an assortment of 32 different neck peg "barbells" (4 each of 8 different sizes) for use with 1:18 action figures. No more cutting up expensive figure parts and gluing stuff together to make heads from one action figure line (Marvel Universe/Legends, G.I. Joe, Marauder Task Force, or any other action figure line with comparable head socket diameters) fit bodies from a H.A.C.K.S. system action figure line without the dreaded "giraffe" effect. Simply install one of these shorter barbells instead and find your perfect fit! At this quantity your cost per barbell is just over $0.23 each for these adapters.
This is an on-the-sprue version of the barbells, which means a bit more work when they arrive since you will have to separate them by hand. But the good news is that sprued barbells cost a bit less than the "boxed" separated barbells
If you find one preferred length of barbell among the assorted sizes and you would like to stock up on just that one size, simply send a message to me via Shapeways specifying which size (see the size chart image, the sizes range from A-H with "A" being the shortest barbell and "H" being the longest barbell) and the desired quantity.
This design is my own personal and INDEPENDENTLY crafted part. It is intended for use with Boss Fight Studios' Vitruvian HACKS figures and any other figure compliant with their HACKS system design, but I have no connection
to Boss Fight in any way, and this is NOT a Boss Fight part.
The barbell's neck ball diameter (the diameter of the ball on the end that plugs into the neck socket) is only appropriate for the FEMALE BFS figures. The female figures use a slightly smaller diameter neck ball than the male figures use. These adapters will NOT work on the MALE figures, since the neck end of the barbell is too small to stay in the larger neck socket of the male figures. Male neck barbells with a more appropriate neck ball diameter are available here
, and that style will be necessary if you intend to use barbells on male figures. This selection is only intended for use on female figures.
