Product Description
It should fit nicely into the N64 controller without any issues. This shape has been tested very thoroughly and is 100% plug-and-play! Enjoy!
NOTE: If you are buying this button for a Funtastic or opaque colored shell, choose "Large" for your size. If you are fitting this button for a gray shell, choose "Small." Why is this? Gray shells have a slightly smaller hole for a start button. Who knew?
Rose gold has more of a copper look that never tarnishes. (psst. it might match a bronze stick pretty well?)
Gold is very shiny gold color, of course that never tarnishes. 18k gold is slightly more yellow and 14k gold is slightly more copper-ish, but both are more yellow than plain polished brass.
Rhodium is a very shiny silver color that never tarnishes.
Unplated polished brass will slowly tarnish over time, but might be an effect that you like. Unplated brass looks kind of gold colored.
Unplated polished bronze will slowly tarnish over time, but might be an effect that you like. Unplated bronze looks kind of slightly more reddish colored than yellow brass. This will match your bronze Tao joystick if you have one. Polished silver will tarnish over time, but it will be very very slow. Silver is more of a noble metal than is brass, thus the jump in price.
Vermeil is gold plated silver. This is a premium option that will never tarnish. It will appear as though it is gold just like gold plated brass but will be mostly sterling silver instead of brass. Sorry for the high cost, but vermeil is pricey.
I've included various options for plating the button. If you have any questions, DM me on our discord!
Here is a video showing the luster and fit of the button in a N64 controller shell. This is the exact button on offer in this listing. The only difference is that the logo is now turned upside down. The first button is plated in 18k gold, the second is plated in rhodium:
