This 1/64 scale model is patterned after a 1954 American LaFrance 700 Series airport crash fire truck that was used by Boeing Aircraft Company. It is one of five that Boeing purchased in the 1950's. In addition to the five Boeing units, American LaFrance built eight other 6x6 700 Series units of this type.
