K40 Laser Gantry Bracket - 21mm OD Linear Bearing

This was designed to save my new K40 laser as the bracket inside the machine was badly bent and must of happened at the factory.

Search "swinksk40" for another option - which is to suit the linear bearings that come with the machine. I chose a different OD bearing as I couldn't remove the other ones. This one is to suit 21OD linear bearings.

It has all the necessary holes in the bracket and you just need to tap the M3 holes. I also added holes in the underside of the linear bearing so you can tap M4 and to just nip up and lock the linear bearings so they stay in place.

Since this is solid plastic I did add some bracing to firm up and reduce any minor flex once the tension is applied to the gantry / laser head belt. I also added some height in the bracket where the gantry tube fastens to the bracket and slotted the holes as this allows improved gantry levelling from side to side.
