Product Description
The LNER U1 was the largest class of articulated steam locomotive to run on British rails. The model has been designed to run requiring additional clearances around the hinge points (which are in the correct positions). The water tank has also been slightly elongated by a few mm to allow the fitting of the front mechanism, easily changed if absolute accuracy is required.
This model was designed to use two Farish Austerity loco chassis modified and I would refer anyone wishing to build this model to refer to the following build thread
