HO Scale 20 ft x 48 inch pillars

These 8 HO Scale pillars are 20 feet tall and approx 48 inch diameter at the base.  They are useful for large public buildings like city hall, senior govt buildings, a museum, a union station, or formal church building etc.  Or i guess someone's very large front porch.  These are hollow up the centre. 

My experience is that surface texture depends on the material.  Sometimes,  these will benefit from a good primer coat and then dry sanding to remove artifacts of the printing.  In some cases, i use a small bit of glazing putty rubbed into the survace, then sanded prior to priming as a way to remove printing lines.
