Flat Wing Nano Talon - Right Side Plate

For a complete "kit", you'll need the following:

• One left side plate
• One right side plate
• One center joiner piece
• Four wedges to level the stock aileron linkages

Note, there were issues getting the wedges printed here at Shapeways, so they're removed for now. They are simple little spacers that fit under the stock aileron linkage pieces and can easily be made from scrap foam, wood, etc. (or just about anything really) If you really need them, let me know and I'll edit the model so Shapeways can print them and upload them again.

You'll need to carefully remove the stock plastic parts from the foam fuselage, minimizing damage to the foam as much as possible. Carefully work your way around pulling seperating the glue until you can remove the pieces. Some had success using isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) to help loosen the glue. Glue the stock aileron linkages back in with the wedges under them so they sit flat and level. Glue the side plates into the fuselage making sure they are seated well into the foam. Attach the center joiner piece using the two screws into the plywood plate in the fuselage. Make sure the wings fit and that everything is aligned properly, then REMOVE THE WINGS before wicking some thin CA around the "cups" at the end of the center piece to glue it to the side plates. Allow ample time for the glue to cure before insering the wings again so they don't become permanently attached to the plane. :)
