HOn3 USG Trinity Water Car Frame

Designed as a HOn3 craftsman kit, the underbody is accurate representation of the prototype unit constructed by Trinity Rail Car and delivered to the United States Gypsum Plaster City facility in 2008. The iconic "Potable Water" tank car supplies the gypsum quarry at Split Mountain, some 26 miles away with drinking water from Plaster City. The model comes as a one piece body less grabirons, brake rigging, crossover walks, draft gear, couplers, trucks, and other fine details. The tank can be constructed using 1/2" I.D. PVC pipe. Use the "HOn3 USG Trinity Water Car Tank Ends & Hatch" product to complete the tank structure. Use Kadee #722 or #726 Hon3 trucks. Please consult prototype photographs during the construction process. These kits are designed for moderate to advanced modellers that can supply some scratchbuilding skill and ingenuity to the build.
