Hensoldt Wetzlar Dialyt 3x Rifle Scope Wheel Center Disc
I design this center disc to be part of a 7/8” (OD) Hensoldt Wetzlar Dialyt 3x scope body replica that I offer on my page as part of a kit. The disc was modeled using a resin cast of a Hensold Wetzlar Dialyt 3X Sniper Rifle Scope. Measurements were taken using a precision caliper, a jeweler’s loupe and gauge rulers. The external dimensions and details are to my understanding correct. Modifications to the internal structure were made to make a prop with moveable parts. This disc goes on top of the Hensold Dialyt 3x DL-44 Blaster ANH Upper Ring. It has a stud to center the lower and upper wheels on top of the wheel base and two holes for two slotted oval head M2 machine screws to set together all 4 parts. (Those screws are hard to find) I will upload a set of two screw simulation pins for that purpose.
I reccomend sanding the top of the disc with 600 grit sandpaper on top of a solid surface. This is to smooth the surface and make it match the high definition materials of the two wheels. To make the screws (or pins) fit thru the holes smmothly they must be carefully hand drilled to clean the diameter of the hole. The recessed space for the screws can also be "cleaned" to snug the screws into the material.
Successful tests were done on Black Strong and Flexible and Black Hi-Def Acrylate.
