Product Description
In times of electronic shifting technology when all it takes is a small button attached to the bar to shift, wired on wireless like the recent system introduced by Xshifter (xshifter.com), this is a great solution to retrofit hydraulic MTB brake levers onto Drop Bar Road bike Handlebars.
I designed this part to be mounted with a Sram Doubletap Lever clamp kit, can be found here:
The bolt connecting the Sram lever clamp to the adapter is a metric M6 x 8mm (8mm length).
The adapter was designed to provide a snug and tight fit with Magura line brake levers, It works with newer Magura MT8, and older MT8's and it should work with most Magura brakes. It might fit other brands with a similar lever clamping system (with brake lever bar clamp separated from the lever body). I apologize but I cannot guarantee with other brands since I neved tried.
