Product Description
Makes swapping batteries a lot simpler by keeping the body connected to the chassis.
Uses the stock mounting points.
Replaces the rear bumper mount and the mounting bracket connected to the roll cage on the body.
2 additional M3 holes are available on the upper part to screw into the body shell for more rigidity, these screws will mostly be hidden by the spare wheel.
The rear bumper can be mounted in it's original location.
If the body hits the bumper when opening, move the bumper out one position or trim the lower edge of the black body panel.
The front mount stays as it is.
Uses all original screws and screw locations. For the hinge pin I use a 50mm piece of M3 threaded rod, a 25mm screw on each side should also work.
Order of installation: assemble hinge, mount to body, mount to chassis.
