Product Description
Project Wild Willy: this is a pair of rear uprights that form part of the GF-01 (Stage 2) conversion; that of taking a Wild Willy 2 body and fitting it to a four-wheel-drive GF-01 chassis. These rear uprights reduce the wheelbase of the donor GF-01 chassis to replicate that of the original 1980's model (namely bringing forward the rear axle 2mm to replicate the original short wheelbase version). When used in conjunction with the GF-02 body mounts the rear axle is then correctly positioned under the rear wheel arch of the Wild Willy body.
These rear uprights are also compatible with the Performante rear brake calipers (GF-0X - brake calipers - rear pair (EBNMW6NE4) by Nicherotors (shapeways.com)).
