Just a simple cylindric piece of plastic, that comes as a replacement of the original nub but without the need of orientation. That means, that the screw on the side is no longer needed. I utilizes the biggest possible surface of nub, which will fit through the opening without tinkering with the upper receiver. Of course you need some kind of spring and some parts, but I expect you to know what you're doing. In fact, it's not rocket science, cause you only need something, that gently pushes down in the nub and is adjustable. Rail clips with a knurled screw in it, a washer (to level the pressure over the surface) and a spring are actually all you need.
In my other design you can go even without a spring.
On the bottom you can superglue a fitting piece of rubber or foam to further level the pressure distribution.
