IMPORTANT: This door needs the Baldwin 4-4-0 Smokebox Bezel to create the full smokebox door assembly.
This door and bezel assembly will fit locomotives with an aprox. 48mm inside diameter smokebox. This can be used as a replacement for the 1:20.3 scale Accucraft 4-4-0 or Mogul live steam locomotives.
Movable Part: You will need to drill the holes for the hinges. You may tap the hinge points on the bezel for M1.4x0.3 mini bolts or use a couple brass brads peened over.
Hole in the center? There is a 4.75mm hole in the center of the door so that a brass numberplate soldered to a 4.75mm rod can be attached. You may drill and tap a hole on the opposite side of the rod from the numberplate to accept a M2 bolt and use a washer to attach the numberplate to this smokebox door.
