Product Description
This is a replacement hatch for the NS SD60E's. It sits behind the dynamic brake fan and in front of the exhaust hatch. It was designed from Athearn RTR and Genesis SD60's but it should work from Proto2000 locomotives as well. This version includes vent holes to place a mesh behind as well as a hole in the center for a Cannon fan (Walthers #191-1707, "36" Radiator Fan for 1st gen EMD Diesels"). Cannon Internal Filter Screens for SD60's should be used on the sides of the extended vent blocks (Walthers #191-1307)
