Product Description
This is an N Gauge model of the well-known GWR ‘Dean Single’ 3031 Class of 1891-1916.  There are two alternate tenders (each separately available) to complete the model, comprising motorised or scale unpowered versions.  Consequently the engine can be produced with the option of scale size (with motor coach) or full motorisation.  Together these parts produce a fully operational model, which with the generic 4 and 6-wheel coaches available can make a complete vintage train.

Necessary to Complete:
Graham Farish Royal Scot driving wheels
X3 Spoked wagon wheels
Couplings (the method used is at the builder's discretion)
Weight (the boiler is hollow)
Styrene strip – to retain wheels and if needed for a bogie guide (see video below)
Pins x2 (for bogie mount)
Brass strip (plastic can also be used), drilled twice 11mm apart for the bogie drawbar

Optional additional details to scratchbuild (at the builder's discretion):
Lamp irons (holes provided)
Reverser lever and regulator (their bases are pre-printed)
Smokebox dart
