Illinois Terminal Class A Wide Locomotive HO & O

The Illinois Traction System, later the Illinois Terminal Railroad, built several wide hooded class A locomotives in the early 1900's.  Several of these lasted into the 1960's at various power plants that the Illinois Terminal use to serve.  This is an HO scale model designed to represent these locomotives.  It is designed to fit onto the American Model Builders frame that is for sale only through their website.  That frame is designed to use the old version of the Bachmann 44 ton locomotive.  Various details will need to be added such as the motors, truck side frames, trolley retriever, headlights, whistle, trolley pole, couplers, etc.
