VR N Scale KC Wagon with Tallow Containers

The KC series of fixed wheel wagons were converted from IY open wagons and were used to carry specialised non-ISO container traffic. By the 1970's, these wagons were provided dedicated transport for tallow, primarily between Melbourne and Wodonga. With downturn in tallow traffic however, these wagons were removed from service by the mid-1980s.

This product consists of the KC wagon body and three (3) tallow containers. These models can be finished with a variety of brass etch details including brake wheel, shunter step, container walk-ways and hand-rails. Additional tallow containers can also be purchased independently here.
