Product Description
The USS Hornet was the first of the Patraeus Class carriers and was unique in that it had two large engines added to the main hull. This greatly increase the speed of the vessel, allowing it to get into position quicker to launch fighters. The extra engines also proved too costly and were not developed for the remaining carriers of that class.
