Designed by and for Caenorhabditis elegans geneticists, these earrings are models of B-form DNA composed entirely of C. elegans. The backbones are a pair of antiparallel adult hermaphrodites. The base pairs are L1 larvae. The loop at the top is an L4 male attempting to mate with its own head, as they often do. The model was designed around the PDB B-form DNA structure and is as accurate as the worms would permit.
