<p>Custom Rocky Doserless Grinder Chute with integrated grounds shovel.</p><p>Those who have one know the Rocky is a great grinder and an exceptional value. A doserless grinder is perfect for grinding a measured mass of whole beans. Unfortunately the factory chute on the Rocky is restrictive with approximately 3 to 5 grams of ground coffee always remaining trapped until the next dose is ground.</p><p>An open style chute would provide access to this trapped coffee, but tends to make a mess of the counter top with uncontrolled coffee grounds. I have created a closed chute design that opens easily for access to the trapped coffee, while incorporating a shovel-like tool to gather the remaining grounds. The shovel doubles as the chute access flap! It is also designed to be the perfect length to prevent contact with the grinder burrs as they stop spinning if one gets too eager to get their coffee out ;)</p><p> </p><p>Since the chute is in contact with the coffee, a food safe coating is recommended with any non-food safe material.</p>
