Dauntless - Galactic Patrol Mark 3 Dreadnought

The Dauntless was the first vessel of the Galactic Patrol to leave the First Galaxy and enter the Boskone dominated Second Galaxy of Lundmark's Nebula.

From her needle beaked prow to the jet studded stern she was packed with power for flight, defense and offense as well as a complete space borne scientific laboratory.  In addition to her regular crew she carried 10 Lensmen hailing from Tellus, Velantia and Rigel and a company of Valerian Space Marines. The staff of the science labortory made up a vertual cross section of the Tree of Knowledge.

When traveling in the low density environment of intergalactic space her Bergenholm inertialess drive was able to achive 100000 parsecs per hour.

Armed with 8 replaceable unit primary projectors, 12 secondary beams and needle beam projectors. Heavily shielded and armoured.
