For scotch enthusiasts. Some years ago I made a little clay devil, looking irate, muscling his way out of one of those presentation tubes that fancy bottles of scotch come in. I called it “Good heavens man, you’re not putting ice in that?” Scotch drinkers appreciated it, others enjoyed it, and I could have sold it several times. So I eventually made a better figure, and copies of it are available here. This figure is sized to fit canisters for a number of single malts from the Highlands and Islands, as illustrated. It has a bottom extension 81 mm in diameter to keep it snugly in place, and will also fit canisters slightly larger. A bottle of scotch and one of these little devils makes a handsome gift. (If in doubt about size, please measure carefully the canister you have in mind. Some are a little too small, so chose another brand.) This size will also fit some coffee mugs that are not standard size, as illustrated. Or, you can visit your local potter and find, or commission, a unique mug a bit larger than 'standard'. As it happens, this size will also fit on top of such things as standard North American tin cans and tuna cans, if that’s any inspiration to you. Also, like all of these reproductions, this figure can simply sit on a table or shelf, looking indignant (though the Good Heavens figure in the imps section is an economical alternative).
