Product Description
Development of the gun started in 1943, based on the German 12.7cm/61 KM 40 (navalized Flakzwilling 40), which had a fully stabilized mount. The first prototype of the 130mm was completed in 1948 and entered service in 1957.
The mount was used on Pr.41 Neustrashimy and Pr.56 Kotlin class destroyers and also implemented in the Type 051 (Luda) class destroyer of the Chinese People Liberation's Army Navy. (From navweaps.com)
