Product Description
This model is based on a detailed Elco drawing for all 80' boats. Quantity used per boat is 4 (PT 731-760), 6 (PT 103-196 & 314-367), or 8 (PT other except PT 565-624). A deck arrangement drawing for PT 565-624 was not available but images of PT 588 show 4 cleats in an arrangement similar to PT 731-760.

This bronze version of the cleats is made for more rugged R/C use. The 24th scale version has slightly thicker feet and horns to meet printing minimums.

Preparation
Saw cleats off close to sprue and deburr ends. Separate cleats by bolt size.

Locations, to center of cleats, based on scaled deck arrangement drawings. Measurements are given in full scale and are taken from Elco drawings. For further details, please see this page: http://www.pt103.com/PT_Boat_Components_Assorted_Deck_Parts.html

Notes on cleats for boats 372 and on, locations and angles are similar to the earlier boats except as noted.

The deck arrangement drawing for PT 372-383, 546, & 548-551 shows an additional cleat. Location:
10" aft of frame 5 = 103" aft of foremost point.
5" inboard of outboard face of gun'l guard.
Angle: Parallel with outboard face of gun'l guard.

The deck arrangement drawing for PT 547, 486-545, 552-563 & 731-760 also shows the additional cleat in the same location.

The deck arrangement drawing for PT 731-760 shows the forward (at frame 18) and aft cleats are replaced by mooring bitts in different locations.
The forward bitt is labeled as being for re-fueling at sea.
