Product Description
This 1:50 scale Hydraulic Stump Shear is designed to fit on the Ertl John Deere 450D, 470G, and Hitachi ZX450 excavator models. The quick coupler included in this set is not compatible with the original bucket, and currently only fits our stump shear attachment. This attachment is designed to use 1/16” and 5/64" (2mm) brass rod for pins, you will need to make bushings to allow for the use of smaller pins to connect the attachment to the model. The cylinders are designed to allow for easy installation of hydraulic lines .8mm or smaller, ( Not included).
This model comes with a spare set of hydraulic cylinders and cylinder mounts just incase one breaks or is lost during assembly. Assembly is required upon delivery of the printed item, and we recommend extra care be taken due to the fragile nature of the parts. The hydraulic pistons and cylinder mounts, are attached to each-other using sprues to reduce printing cost, and will need to be separated from each other upon delivery. Cylinders printed in new shapeways materials will require more sanding than usual.
