Product Description
This commissioned item is an N Gauge model of Caledonian Railway locomotive No. 419.  Introduced by John McIntosh in 1900, the 439 Class 4-4-0Ts comprised 92 engines.  Some continued operation through the LMS with 74 ultimately working for BR.  This model represents the engine as preserved with slight pipework and layout differences (an alternate form is also available).

Designed to fit a Farish M7 Class chassis and intended to be as close a fit as possible, some small fettling may be required.  For this reason the chassis support in the bunker is provided as a separate unit to enable easy modification to suit the builder.  Holes are also provided for handrails.

IMPORTANT: while most models available here have been pre-tested and known to work, this scratch-aid has not been printed/tested by myself, so while the measurements appear correct it is considered strictly experimental.
