The
charro jewelry style is a typical artisanry of the city of Salamanca, Spain, and of some former colonies, like Mexico. The design is quite unique, supposedly from the fusion of Celtic and Moor cultures, and is usually crafted in silver filigree.
This is a pendant in such style, with a diameter of 40mm (1.6").
The intended implementation had to be adapted to accommodate contemporary technology. First the frame is thicker than usual, optimized for the 1mm steel restriction. The filigree was replaced by a design with similar visual appearance and, due to the file size limit, the "resolution" is not the best possible. The end result seems to be OK, but please check the attached renderings.
