Product Description
The Cassini “Equinox Mission” was a two-year mission extension which ran from July 2008 until October 2010 after its “Prime mission” completion.
During the Equinox Mission, the Cassini spacecraft continued its tour of the Saturnian system and performed several close targeted fly-bys as well as many distant fly-bys of Saturn's moons.
This hanging sculpture traces the “Equinox mission" trajectory as a 1.2mm diameter wire “ball of yarn”, that can be suspended from a thread, or placed on a flat surface.
