Product Description
The DHC-6 Twin Otter is a twin-engine utility aircraft developed by de Havilland Canada. The aircraft's fixed tricycle undercarriage, STOL capabilities, twin turboprop engines and high rate of climb have made it a successful commuter passenger airliner as well as a cargo and medical evacuation aircraft. In addition, the Twin Otter has been popular with commercial skydiving operations, and is used by the United States Army Parachute Team and the United States Air Force's 98th Flying Training Squadron. It is currently manufactured and sold by Viking Air. This seaplane version includes pontoon floats in place of the tricycle landing gear. This 1:200 scale model is the last aircraft I'm currently designing in the de Havilland Canada family. The last model in a line of aircraft spread over a month of modeling and adjusting individually requested by you; the community. This was a challenging series of aircraft that paid off in the end. Updates and tweaks to the mesh will likely come online later in the year. Enjoy!
