Eastbourne Tramway Car 12

A 009 model of Eastbourne Tramway's single deck enclosed saloon. The kit includes four bogie sides, the body, roof and internal seating. This was the last car built at Eastbourne and is modelled in original form - it is now at Seaton and has been rebuilt several times to become a double deck open top. I used a Tomytec TM20 bogie chassis to motorise mine but I've left a big enough hole for you to fit whatever takes your fancy. The power chassis fits in from the top - use some small pieces of thin plasticard to reduce the length of the hole and stick the chassis in place on top of the plasticard. Although based on the Eastbourne Tramways car this kit would make quite a nice freelance railcar for a 009 narrow gauge layout.
