Product Description
The Boeing RC-135 is a series of reconnaissance aircraft built by Boeing. It is currently being used by the US Air Force and the Royal Air Force. Based on the original KC-135A, which in turn is based on the Boeing 707 prototype, this aircraft, has been the workhorse of the intelligence community for decades, with numerous upgrades to engines and avionics over the same span of time.
This model was requested by an Air Force veteran, with the specific variant being the RC-135 V /W series. The challenge in this build was the intensive placement of the dozen or so antennae scattered around the airframe. The other bonus to this build is the potential to have six or seven other models built out of it. As there are an abundance of aircraft based on the Boeing 707 airframe, swapping engines or components saves time and produces several of the varieties still seen today. Enjoy!
Version 1.7.20220929 - A scaling issue detected with my other Boeing 707 derivatives has been resolved.
