Strip Coil Unfitted

Like the Strip Coil VB but without the vacuum cylinders, linkages, or pipe holes in the bufferbeam. The floor inside also has no load support railing, so you can add these yourself or leave things as they are for the wood-lined arrangement in the description of the wagons as built. Supplied with plateback bogies without access holes, but the ones from the N-gauge society may run better and also have a flexible rapido-style coupling. If you use the bogies which are printed, carefully cut off either the rigid rapido-style couplings or the NEM pockets, whichever you don't need. Compared to the VB version, this wagon has slightly different buffers, different bogies, and additional small rivetting which seems (from study of photographs) to have been removed  when the wagons were vacuum fitted (leaving holes which were perhaps later filled in).
