Product Description
These unique hoop earrings are inspired by the anaphase stage of mitosis in eukaryotic cells. Mitosis is the process by which cells divide, replicating their chromosomes and distributing them evenly between the two developing cells. At anaphase, the daughter chromatids (the replicated chromosomes) are being pulled along by microtubules to opposite ends of the dividing cell.
The hoop earrings are approximately 2.2 cm (0.9 inches) in diameter.
The earrings will ship from Shapeways without earring backs. You will need to purchase these yourself. The posts are approximately 0.9 mm in diameter and fit standard earring backs.
