Benzine tram bovenleidingmontagewagen 2408

Uit de overbodige geworden benzine trams van de lijn Rotterdam – Overschie zijn twee wagens omgebouwd om als bovenleidingmontagewagens verder te gaan.

Deze benzinetrams zijn oorspronkelijk omgebouwd uit oude paardentramrijtuigen van de tramlijn Rotterdam – Hilgersberg. In 1924 en 1925 zijn 5 ex paardentramrijtuigen omgebouwd en voorzien van twee T-Fort motoren om de lijn Rotterdam – Overschie te motoriseren. De wagens hebben tot de verbussing in 1928 gereden. De 506 en de 507 Zijn daarna nog eens verbouwd tot bovenleidingmontagewagens voor de RET 2408 en de HTM WG12 (deze zag er iets anders uit)

De 2408 is gesloopt in 1949 en de HTM WG12 in 1959

Let op, model heeft kleine delen die kwetsbaar kunnen zijn.

Is ontworpen voor de Halling ANT-VAR-V3-HO aandrijving met 9 mm wielen. En kan eventueel naar wens de spoorbreedte aangepast worden tussen 9 en 16mm. Wagenbak en vloerplaat zijn aan elkaar te schroeven met Piko 55298, (alternatief is de Marklin K7599 schroeven).

Gasoline tram tower wagon 2408

Two cars from the redundant petrol trams of the Rotterdam - Overschie line have been converted to continue as overhead line tower cars (catenary maintenance vehicle).

These petrol trams were originally converted from old horse tram carriages of the Rotterdam - Hilgersberg tram line. In 1924 and 1925, 5 former horse tram carriages were converted and equipped with two T-Fort engines to motorize the Rotterdam - Overschie line. The cars ran until they were replacing by busses in 1928. The 506 and the 507 were subsequently converted into catenary tower wagons for the RET 2408 and the HTM WG12 (this one looked slightly different).

The 2408 was scrapped in 1949 and the HTM WG12 in 1959

Please note, model has small parts that may be fragile.

Is designed for the Halling ANT-VAR-V3-HO drive with 9 mm wheels. And the track width can be adjusted between 9 and 16 mm as desired. The trolley body and floor plate can be screwed together with Piko 55298 (an alternative is the Marklin K7599 screws).
