Celtic Rain Drop Knot Earring

The life on this Earth needs water to live, and all of our clean drinking water rains down from the sky.  In the great water cycle, it evaporates to form clouds, and eventually rains back down bringing life to the land below.  In appreciation of this gift of life, the Celtic Rain Drop knot has been designed as a single, never-ending loop to represent the never-ending cycle of water.  The knot itself can be broken down into two main elements.  The top forms a Triquetra representing the Creator and source of all life.  It also forms the clouds from which falls the life-giving rain.  Beneath the Triguetra in the clouds, reveals the second element of this know.  It is the Earth and all her rivers and lakes, sources of clean drinking water bringing life to the world.  After the water makes its way through all the twists and turns, it eventually makes its way back to its origin, back to the clouds from whence it came, ready to one day return to the Earth to give her more life.
