This model is the frame for one car. In addition to a wood deck, trucks, and couplers, you will need to add brake equipment, including a vertical shaft and brake wheel to complete the car. The ends are designed for Kadee O scale couplers. The bottom of the Kadee coupler box fits directly into the frame and can be attached by screws (after drilling appripiate sized hole in frame). Also, there is a mounting bracket for Carmer cut lever on each end.
This variation of the F22 had a plain wooden deck. There is a version with the "bridge" and deck mounting available. The prototype deck boards were 6" wide.
This model can also be made into a PRR F23 flat car by adding a flat metal deck (from styrene) instead of a wood deck.
