These are a pair of 1:8 scale BTH A8 magnetos as used on the Wolseley Viper and Hispano-Suiza 8 aero engines. This specific version is intended for use on the 1:8 Wolseley Viper engine on sale here.
They are BTH A8 magnetos and only the distributor caps differ from those on the Hispano-Suiza 8Be model. The two variants were interchangable, and from photographs that I have seen were intermixed at the time. However, the distributor caps on these versions are those shown in the Wolseley maintenance manuals.
