This model is scaled, at 98mm, to be appropriate for Star Wars Armada miniautre game and has a added peg for armada small base mounting
In an attempt to modernerize older vessels to help extend their life Earthforce authorized the refit of the Hyperion Class(or more accuratly the Roosevelt Class) Cruisers. They chose to change the armament of the vessel to those found on the Nova Class and increased the crew compliment. While not suitable to replace the nova class the Hyperion-Nova Refit was able to punch way above their class afterward.
