The Grey Fine Detail Plastic model needs to be rinsed in some acetone for a couple of minutes prior to painting. This is to remove any last traces of the waxy support material from the printing process. Any white rough areas where the support material from the printing process can be carefully scraped with the edge of a screwdriver or similar tool. Beware not to damage the rivets.
Acrylic paints are best used as some have reported problems with enamel paint drying, possibly due to inadequate cleaning.
