Magnetic Rack for 1.5ml Centrifuge Tubes

Magnetic racks for 1.5ml microcentrifuge tubes. Magnets or tubes are angled to reduce the distance between tube and magnet.

The current model takes up to 12.75x6.5x3.5mm (or 0.5x0.25x0.125") magnets. Shims may be required for ideal positioning of smaller magnets. Magnets slide in behind the tube with no wall between the magnet and the tube, and should be glued in to make sure they don't fall out. Racks work with both neodymium and ferrite block magnets (see video).

Sizes determine the number of tubes:

• Extra Small - 1 tube
• Small - 2 tubes
• Medium - 6 tubes
• Large - 12 tubes [mirrored in V formation]

• Number of tubes
• Choice between angled tubes vs angled magnets
• Vertical tube + magnet (for non-tapered tubes)
• Additional space for a magnet at the base of the holder
• Wall between magnet and tube
