Product Description
Meet Macroglossum stellatarum - a frequent guest in our garden, called "Taubenschwänzchen" (little dove tail) in German. As the English name says, this is a moth that hovers in front of flowers like a humming bird does.
And with its stocky, fuzzy body it looks awfully cuddly while doing so!
The moth printed very well - with all the fine details - in cast metals, Frosted Ultra Detail and Black High-Definition Acrylate. In Stainless Steel the structure will be rather coarse, which is nice if you prefer more of a rugged look. An earlier version (before I redesigned the loop) also printed well in WSF and shows a medium amount of detail.
This is the solid version of the pendant, for those who prefer a complete moth.
